'Blacking', 2008

'Blacking' was part of group exhibition Separations in Leeds, Uk (2008). For a duration of 3 hours i attempted to cover the entire space with black charcoal. A microphone was attached to my drawing tool and the sound projected into an adjoining room.  The entire performance was recorded and played on a small TV for the rest of the exhibition - the sound from the monitor then projected into the adjoining room - creating a double recording of the performance.
